Astrea was founded on January 21, 2021 in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. Before this date, there was no agency with an exclusively social and activist focus in the country.

Its creation is the result of the synergy between the outstanding communications professionals, Gabriela Sierra and Saraí Guardiola, after identifying the need to provide non-profit organizations in Honduras with a 360° communications service.

All this with the aim of contributing to just causes, raising awareness of human rights and contributing to the collective well-being of humanity.

ORIGIN

Astrea

In Greek mythology, Astrea was considered an advocate of peace and the goddess of justice in the world of men. Characteristics that represent the essence of our agency and that just spirit that keeps us creating ideas and communication strategies to contribute to collective well-being.

This goddess symbolized immaculate justice and righteousness, and was often depicted holding a scale and a sword.

To be a leading comprehensive communications agency in the region for positively contributing to social causes and generating changes capable of transforming realities through our services.

Vision

To establish ourselves as the first activist communications agency in Honduras and expand into Central America, Latin America and North America, helping organizations and foundations generate social change.
